World Champion Boxer Katie Taylor, a native of Bray, acknowledges the importance of Lakers in the lives of its members, together with the positive influence it has on the wider community.  

Jamie Heaslip, Ireland and Leinster Rugby Player
Leinster, Ireland and Lions No. 8 rugby player has pledged his ongoing support to Lakers.  During a visit to the centre, Jamie saw first-hand the work that is done and is excited about helping in any way he can. 

Denis O Brien, Chairman, Digicel Group 
Irish businessman and supporter of people with special needs, Denis was delighted to accept the honorary position as Chairperson of Lakers Board of Directors.  Denis has been very supportive with his advice and encouragement to Lakers in achieving its goals.

Award-winning film producer, Managing Director World 2000 Entertainment Ltd and a native of Bray, Morgan is a Lakers Ambassador and keeps a keen eye on the various dramatic and musical productions that Lakers perform.

Irish award-winning novelist and newspaper columnist Maeve Binchy was supportive in seeing the creative part of the club being developed with art, crafts, pottery and music being offered to members.
