Lakers has a long held ambition to develop a custom-designed centre for our members on a site generously provided by Wicklow Co Council in Ballywaltrim, Bray. We recently were successful in receiving full Planning Permission for this new Brady Centre.
Acquiring the funds necessary to develop the Centre will be a significant challenge for us particularly in the current economic circumstances and must be seen as a long-term project.
In the meantime, we owe it to our members to work hard in continuing to
improve and expand our classes and facilities in our current Brady Centre on
Seapoint Road.
Our Fundraising efforts therefore continue both to address our capacity issues in the current Centre and to provide for the longer term development of the new Centre.
We will appreciate your help in this fundraising effort; you can help in one of
the following three ways:-
- Our Buy-A-Brick campaign is
designed to enable each individual or organisation to contribute to
developing our facilities – existing and new - by purchasing at least one
