Job Purpose: The main purpose of job is to provide cookery classes for members, encourage independent living skills and promote an understanding of food, nutrition and healthy eating. In addition to the term time programme of cookery classes, the post will include broader more general activities over the summer period during the organisation’s summer camps for members of all ages.
Person Specification: Essential Skills, Training and Experience Competent cookery skills Understanding of nutritional matters Good practice in food handling Good communication skills Good organisational skills An ability to work to a budget Desirable Skills, Training and Experience Experience of special needs HCCAP food handling training
